Jodie Kirkbride has a Bachelor of Media Arts from the University of South Australia: Majoring in Film and Television Production and sub-majoring in Animation; and a Post Graduate Certificate in Film & Television.
Currently working as a Producer's assistant at KOJO, Jodie assists in the development and production of KOJO Entertainment's slate. Most recently working on Top End Wedding and 2067. Prior to KOJO Jodie worked as a producer for corporate and commercial media company Floodlight Media and as a Casting Cooridnator at Heesom Casting, working on such projects as Wolf Creek TV Series, Storm Boy, Rabbit and Boys in the Trees, as well as countless TVCs.
In April 2018 Jodie received the South Australian Screen Award for “Emerging Producer”. They were also the recipient of the SAFC’s Career Accelerator Grant aimed at emerging producers and traveled to Los Angeles to work with The Exchange during the American Film Market in November 2017.
Since graduating in 2015,Jodie has independently so far produced 11 short films, 2 web-series and many music videos. They have so far had their projects screened at 20+ film festivals worldwide.
She continues to work as a Producer (as well as many other roles) in her Freelance Production Company
